Azekura Chef Yamashita Shuichi

He strives to use seasonal ingredients to create dishes that reflect the season, and always strives to provide dishes that will complement the special days of his guests.
He appointed head chef of the Japanese restaurant "Azekura" at the JW Marriott Hotel Nara in October 2024.

Teppanyaki chef Yamamoto Tsunenori

In January 2025, he will be appointed as the head teppanyaki chef at JW Marriott Hotel Nara.
He strives to create dishes that bring out the individuality of the ingredients, and values ​​hospitality to his customers.

Sushi Chef Tsujimoto Eiji

From May 2025, he will serve as the head sushi chef at JW Marriott Hotel Nara.
When it comes to sushi, he values ​​the balance of ingredients, nigiri, and rice above all else.

Hours

  • Lunch: 11:30 am - 2:00 pm (L.O 1:30 pm)
  • Dinner: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm (L.O 8:00 pm)

Private rooms are available during lunch hours on weekends and public holidays in two time slots:

11:00 AM - 1:00 PM / 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM (two seatings)
